Our Story:

We have been renting cabins in Big Bear for over ten years and love Big Bear. Prior to starting Big Bear Lakefront Cabins, we owned our own cabin while living off the hill and used Vacation Rental Managers to take care of our home and manage the rentals to provide us with some income. It was a challenging experience which always seemed to lead to dissatisfaction. We went through 5 different companies with a similar story each time…”We promise to do this, that, and the other thing…”

But after a short time we would find that our cabin just wasn’t being kept up to the quality we expected or rented out to the level we were used to. When we would come up we would find our home dirty, items missing, and maintenance items left outstanding. Even light bulbs would be out and would go un-replaced. And several of those companies took over 40% as a management fee. When we called in to their office, their staff did not even know who we were nor where familiar with our cabin. The question arose, “How can they be renting our cabin if they don’t even know our cabin?” It was a question we got tired of asking along with all the other frustrations. We know how you feel!

After deciding we loved Big Bear so much, and knowing we have the desire, knowledge and capacity to really provide the service that a second home owner wants in a management company, we decided to start Big Bear Lakefront Cabins and do our best to satisfy our cabin owners and our renters, and not overcharge for our service. And so far it has been a great success.

We are committed to providing quality care for our homes which satisfies everyone.
